3 December 2025 – Celebrating the Thracian Tradition of “Varvara”
The “Stavros Halioris” Community Center celebrated the traditional Thracian custom of Varvara, a sweet dish that symbolizes community, generosity, and the preservation of local heritage.
Prepared with care by the Community Center staff, the traditional dessert was shared with the members of the Magiko Senior Citizens’ Center (KAPI) and the employees of the Thrace Plastics Group, keeping this cherished tradition alive across generations.
