The “STAVROS HALIORIS” Social Center, as part of its activities, hosts the ROAD SAFETY truck of the ECO RALLY ACROPOLIS, in an effort to raise driver awareness of proper driving behavior and the prevention of losses on the asphalt.
From September 29, 2022 until October 4, 2022, at Magikou Square, in the Municipality of Abdira, Xanthi, and from 12:00 noon to 10:00 at night, we are giving the drivers of our area the opportunity to use state-of-the-art simulators , with the use of state-of-the-art glasses simulating dangerous driving situations and with the guidance of the qualified staff of the EKO truck, to discover mistakes or be rewarded for their correct reactions.
Through experiential experiences, we will highlight the basic mistakes that we all repeat and that increase the chances of being involved in an accident, such as distraction, high speed, driving under the influence of alcohol/substances, not wearing a helmet/belt .
On Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 12:00 noon, in the same part of the Central Square of Magikos, with the participation of our supporters in the effort to prevent accidents, bodies involved in their management, such as the Region of Eastern Macedonia Thrace, the The Municipality of Abdira, the Municipality of Xanthi, the Police Department, the Fire Service, the Xanthi Hospital with its surgical clinic, the EKAV and the Red Cross will hold an open discussion hosted by Mr. Nikos Tsadaris, a member of Motorsport, racing driver and specialist road safety instructor.
