On Friday, May 26, 2017, the Adult and Children’s Traditional Dance Groups of the “Stavros Halioris” Social Center presented a musical and dance performance entitled “The Birds Deceived Me, the Nightingales of Spring…”.
The performance celebrated the customs and traditions of spring, highlighting important elements of Greek history and cultural heritage through music and dance. The production was directed and choreographed by the Social Center’s dance instructor, Mr. Kyriakos Athanasiadis.
We were deeply touched by the overwhelming response of the audience and regret that the venue could not accommodate everyone who wished to attend. Our warmest congratulations and thanks go to all those who contributed to the success of this wonderful performance.
