Clean Monday Celebration 2015

On February 23, 2015, the “STAVROS HALIORIS” Community Center hosted a Clean Monday celebration, marking the beginning of Lent according to Greek tradition.

Participants enjoyed a variety of traditional Lenten foods, including bean soup, lagana bread, and taramasalata, accompanied by wine generously offered by Karakosta Winery. The celebration also featured traditional Greek dancing, while children and adults alike enjoyed flying kites, kindly sponsored by the Thrace Plastics Group
