As part of its ongoing collaboration with local educational institutions, the “STAVROS HALIORIS” Community Center co-organized an educational seminar on Thursday, May 3, 2018, entitled “Adolescence and Gender – Relationships Between Boys and Girls During Adolescence.”
The event welcomed students from the local Junior High School, who were greeted by the Center’s President, Mr. Georgios Parastatidis. The main speaker, Mr. Konstantinos Vatamidis, MSc Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist at the Psychiatric Clinic of Xanthi General Hospital, spoke about adolescence, brain development during the teenage years, and relationships between boys and girls. Interactive activities encouraged students to participate actively throughout the session.
Through initiatives like this, the “STAVROS HALIORIS” Community Center continues to promote educational programs that inform, inspire, and equip young people with valuable knowledge and life skills.
