On Sunday, February 17, 2019, the “STAVROS HALIORIS” Community Center hosted a special Poetry and Music Evening, featuring the presentation of “Mikra Dionysia”, a poetry collection by Kostas Tavoultsidis.
The event opened with a welcome address by the Center’s President, Mr. Georgios Parastatidis. The poet’s life and work were presented by Thanasis Mousopoulos (poet and author), Michalis Spanidis (publisher), and Eleni Dimitriadou-Efraimidou (poet).
The evening continued with Kostas Tavoultsidis reciting and performing his own poetry, accompanied on the double bass by Vangelis Kontopoulos. Their moving performance created a memorable atmosphere, reminding everyone of poetry’s unique ability to inspire, comfort, and bring people together through the power of words and music.
