Today, Friday, May 31st, Deputy Minister of Education, Religion, and Sports, Mrs. Ioanna Lytrivi, visited the Social Center “STAVROS HALIORIS” in Magiko, Municipality of Abdera, accompanied by the Member of Parliament for Kavala, Mr. Makarios Lazaridis, and the Member of Parliament for Xanthi, Mr. Spyros Tsiligiris.

During this visit, the Deputy Minister was briefed on the educational, cultural, and social activities of the Center, its continuous efforts to enhance the operation and activities of local social and educational structures, as well as its contribution to the continuous education of the employees of PLASTIKA THRACE Group.

In the ensuing discussion, attended by the CEO of PLASTIKA THRACE Group, Mr. Athanasios Dimios, there was a mutual understanding between the Ministry of Education, Religion, and Sports and the corporate social responsibility of the Group regarding the upgrading of vocational education and training, aligning it with the opportunities and needs of the local job market.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to maintain communication, as the support for the State’s efforts to modernize education is deemed essential.
