Rebetiko Evening – A Tribute to Vassilis Tsitsanis
The “STAVROS HALIORIS” Community Center successfully hosted its second annual Rebetiko Evening on Saturday, February 3, 2018. The event attracted a large audience, whose warm participation once again confirmed the community’s appreciation for this musical tradition.
The tribute to Vassilis Tsitsanis delighted and moved everyone in attendance. Special thanks go to the “Rebetes tou Dounia” ensemble for their outstanding performance, and to the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Xanthi for the participation of its dance group.
