Panagiota Kavaratzi

Panagiota Kavaratzi is a musician and has been collaborating with the Social Center “STAVROS HALIORIS” since 2010 as the head of the Children’s Choir and Musical Instrument Learning Departments.

She began her musical studies at the Municipal Conservatory of Xanthi in 1989 and continued at the Fotis Kontos Music School, where she received Degrees in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue. In 2007, she received a Degree in Byzantine Music from the Municipal Conservatory of Xanthi, while in 2018 she attended a 500-hour seminar at the University of Thessaly on “Neuropsychological Therapies and Intervention Techniques in the Field of Special Education”.

From 2002 to 2017, she worked as a substitute/hourly teacher in Primary and Secondary Education schools in the Prefectures of Xanthi and Rodopi, and from 2001 to the present, she has been in collaboration with the Municipality of Avdira, teaching Choir lessons in the Choir Department of the Municipality’s KAPI.
