On Sunday, June 16, 2024, the End-of-Year Celebrations of our programs concluded with the theatrical performances by the children of our theater workshops.

The Children’s Theater Workshop presented “The Quiltmaker’s Gift,” a fairy tale about a greedy king who learns from the Quiltmaker that it’s not about hoarding treasures, but about giving to those in need…

The Teenager’s Theater Workshop presented the play “Romi and Juli” by Dimitris Bouzaras, the facilitator of the Literacy and Creative Writing Workshops at the Social Center. A modern version of Shakespeare’s classic “Romeo and Juliet,” it provided plenty of laughs to the audience, who warmly applauded both performances!

Congratulations to all the children who participated, giving their best! Congratulations to Mr. Chaitidis, the children’s teacher, and to Mr. Bouzaras, as well as to all the contributors for the excellent result!

The evening ended with ice cream and wishes for a pleasant summer holiday!
