On Tuesday, March 5th, the Children’s and Teenagers’ Traditional Dance Department of the “STAVROS HALIORIS” Social Center participated once again in the Thracian Folk Festivals organized by the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Xanthi. The children performed Macedonian dances and traditional songs for the audience that filled the Municipal Amphitheater of the city.
The prolonged applause at the end of our performance was the best proof of its success! Congratulations to all the participants for their excellent performance, to the ladies of the Social Center staff for the costumes, and to Mr. Kyriakos Athanasiadis for preparing our dancers and overseeing the performance!
